West rolls past East in All-Star football game

Prescott's Thomas Muldrew ran for 185 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries Saturday as the West routed the East 52-21 in the annual Arkansas High School Coaches Association All-Star football game at UCA’s Estes Stadium.
Muldrew scored on runs of 33 and 90 yards in the second half for the West, which scored the final 21 points. He also threw a 63-yard touchdown pass to Nashville’s Ty Pettway for the game’s first score.
Arkadelphia’s Dillon Scott returned a punt 58 yards for a West touchdown and also had three interceptions in the game.
The West forced six turnovers and had a 529-159 advantage in total yards.
Searcy’s Mason Schucker threw a 57-yard touchdown pass to Helena-West Helena's Keyon Burrell for the East’s only offensive touchdown.
The East also scored on a 100-yard interception return by McGehee’s Deonta Haynes and a 56-yard fumble return by Pine Bluff's Isiah Singleton.
For the East, Trumann's Cade Gartman had four tackles and Blytheville's Corey Chunn had three tackles.
